finally finished

well book 3 is in my editors capable hands. its up to him if its good enuf to make the deadline on the second. if not look for it to be posted on this site. even if i dont make the contest i'm not done writing yet!

updates

i'm still plugging away at book 3 hoping to meet this deadline. i havent had much time for blogging lol.
had a few great ideas from a friend of mine to start offering signed copies of the books through this site. merlin is workin on setting something up and as soon as we get a shipment of books in we'll be ready to go with that. thanks shamen!

busy again

well looks like i got my nose burried so deep in work i almost forgot to blog tonight.
books goin well i'm halfway to the requirements for submitting for the contest. lets keep our fingers crossed while i drive myself into the ground again!

no rest for the wicked

so yesterday i find out about this contest where the main prize is a publishing contract. thing of it is none of my pre published books qualify and the deadline is feb 2... ouch. so here i am bustin my tail to finish book 3 in the series cause it hasnt been made public yet. i figure if they pick up book 3 then they'll want books 1 and 2 right? heck it worked with the starwars trilogy all those years ago lol.
our counter took a flying leap off a cliff and reset itself. oh the joys of modern technology. we went from 67 hits back down to 9 its in like an hour lol but heck thats the way it goes right. not like youll dont know we're here.
so thats the updates for tonight as i am sitting here looking forward to a late night of working once again...

Just WOW

I cant begin to say just how excited i am. the web site is up and running finally! 4 books are up for purchase and i'm just thrilled.
i've been working on the next book in the chronicles series dilligently. i am hoping to have it finished by spring.
a few other projects designed for the web site are going well but i wont spoil the surprise!
keep checking back for more details and thank you all for your support.

stranger than fiction

i've never been really good about writing truth without a tall tale behind it. i'm giving it my best shot for two reasons. first reason, you the readers. without you all i wouldnt have a reason to tell a tale at all. second reason, Mark, he's awesome. you see all these pictures up on the web site that are me on backgrounds. he did those. pretty cool eh? you see up top of these blogs where it says menu.... he found a way to attach his blogs to mine so you all can see all the great things he's been workin on too.
if it wasnt for his strong devotion to his friends, i wouldnt have this awesome site being built as i continue to pluck away at the fiction. Be sure to give him the kudos he deserves for all the work he has done.

The Books

I started writing The Queen of Chaos in January of 2008 by June i was well into the second part titled The Errant Heir. I was given the idea to combine the two into a collectors edition featuring all of the art inspired by the novel. I'm still waiting on that back from my editor but it should be up soon.
I've been working on part three of this series I've now titled The Chronicles of Promistair. I've not kept up on the logging but I've written out half of the story out on paper. It takes twice as much work but doesn't interrupt creativity when I'm away from the pc.
The Phoenix Son is a project i started in high school. OK so that was 12 years ago, but its done now that's gotta count for something right. My wonderful husband did all the art by hand for the book and put it on the pc and digitally colored some of them in. Turned out fantastic.
I've got so many projects to do that I'm looking forward to seeing what i create next and i hope you all are too.
